Abstract:
The labor market shows marked fluctuations between supply and demand, which basically reflects the economic environment of the Serbian economy. These changes in the labor market are the result of the country’s economic policy, business conditions, legal regulations, social shocks, gray economy flows and other economic, social, legal and political factors. Employment growth in the workforce creates conditions for a higher level of employment of all economic resources, which will in the long run enable the growth of gross domestic product and a better position of all economic entities in the country. The state must develop instruments to develop a private initiative and create new jobs. It is necessary to create an environment that will stimulate investments and more employment of the economy, which will result in higher employment.
