Summary:

The territory of the People’s Republic of China in traditional geopolitical theory is perceived as part of the inner land belt surrounding the core of the Eurasian continent. In this zone, the interests of naval and land powers are competing to secure global dominance.

The rapid economic and economic development of the People’s Republic of China in the last three decades enabled it to launch the “Belt and Road” initiative, which should result in the political, economic and infrastructural connection of the countries involved in this project.

The implementation of the planned projects would ensure the NR of China’s exit from the geo-economic ring – by land to the west and by sea to the east and southeast – which would remove geographical obstacles to becoming a globally dominant power, both on land and at sea. This would change the initial geological patterns and the international order.

In this regard, the paper analyzes the factors that influence the geopolitical position of the People’s Republic of China, with a scientific prediction of that position in the service of the full implementation of the “Belt and Road” initiative.
